I recently joined the gym after months of putting it off. I try to work out 3-5 times a week now, which means 3-5 more outfit changes per week! In college, I would wear a loose t-shirt with shorts or yoga pants to work out. Now, I like to wear actual sportswear. When I feel confident in my athletic attire, it gives me that extra boost at the gym to have a great work out. Look your best, feel your best!

Rings are my favorite piece of jewelry. You can wear as many as you want and can mix and match metals and styles. When you don’t want a statement necklace, drop earrings, or thick bracelets to detract from your outfit, you can wear delicate rings to add a little something more to your look. Stack on rings to add that extra oomph to your t-shirt and jeans. Or, wear a simple rose gold ring with a cocktail dress to keep your outfit refined. There is so much you can do with rings!

I can’t believe how cold it was in Manhattan today! My 6 am commute to the gym was NOT ideal. I feel like the city completely skipped over Fall weather and now wants Winter here to stay. Manhattan may be ready to transition seasons, but I am not ready to give up my Fall wardrobe. Crisp whites are really making a comeback in the colder months, and I am currently in lust with the idea of wearing oversized white sweaters all winter long.

For the first twenty-one years of my life, I was extremely opposed to flats. I am 5’2 and never felt flats gave my small frame and short height enough justice. I thought flats made women look shorter and legs look stumpier. For twenty-one years, I was wrong. Over the past couple years, I have grown to love flats as much as I love my booties and strappy heels (well, almost as much). I am slowly growing my flat collection-I recently purchased these from DSW and they have inspired me to continue growing my collection:
My favorite look is to pair these shoes with striped tops. I’ve also recently found out I love mixing patterns! Breaking away from matchy-matchy outfits has been quite liberating. I dare everyone to try something new when it comes to fashion–it may surprise you what you can feel comfortable in.

Is there anything better than an oversized sweater? They are stylish, comfortable, and surprisingly flattering. I love pairing an oversized sweater with black leather leggings and gold crocodile slip-ons (my current ensemble). Between working at the office, grabbing dinner and drinks, and starting my holiday shopping in the recently set up Bryant Park shops, this look remains chic and trendy while keeping me comfortable all day long.
Not only are oversized sweaters great for being out-and-about, they are the perfect choice for a movie night or lazy Sunday. Pair one with cotton leggings, long fuzzy socks, and stacked rings (post on my current ring cravings coming soon!) for the ultimate comfy, yet put-together look.

Warm weather has officially passed in Manhattan–tonight I felt the first Fall chill in the city air. Work has slowed down after the hectic chaos of planning a new retail season. I’ve joined the gym (finally), overhauled my diet (spiralizing is my new obsession), and am excited for some family and friend time over Thanksgiving, as well as a much needed mini-vacation with my boyfriend. With all the newness (and newfound stability) in my life, now seems like such a fitting time for my first post.
I’ve been blogging for years, but have never had a blog that has stuck with me long-term. My hobbies and interests have changed, and in turn my blogs have always changed. From this I have realized the one constant interest and passion I have had in my life is fashion. There is always an item I am lusting after, coveting, and craving. I can’t wait to share these special items with all of you. Enjoy.
I have a strong affinity for all-black-everything ensembles (the one thing that has not changed for me). My current go-to look usually involves denim (ripped or black), an oversized sweater, and black booties. It’s a simple look that easily transitions from work to play. The black booties below are my absolute favorite right now! They are sexy and super comfortable–and you really can’t beat the price tag!
